Please note that Graeme will shortly be updating route narrative for leg 4 - there are several very minor changes, but in the last 1/2 mile we have reverted to the original EW route for safety reasons. After Newbarns farm you cross the B1018 immediately and turn left along the pavment. This will avoid emerging onto this busy road through a small gap in the hedge and the inherent dangers of that.
